We’re pleased to have a number of other groups of paddlers assoicated with Trentham Canoe Club. These groups also paddle on the lake and often take part in canoe club events.
Staffordshire Scouts
Trentham Canoe Club has a strong affiliation with the Scout network within the Midlands area. Please ask at your local Scout Group for more details about getting involved with kayaking and canoeing.
Associate membership of the canoe club is covered by the Stone U3A group and paddlers pay the water charge when they paddle. Administration of the group is the responsibility of Neil Thompson (Click Here to Email) who you can contact for further information.
North Staffs Special Olympic Group
The main aim of the group is to develop the members skills whilst they have fun. The current members range from medal winners at sprint championships to those who prefer to paddle at more leisurely speeds. The group is supported by several volunteers from our club which ensures that we are able to provide full safety cover at all time. The session group is now, Paddleability – Tuesday evenings 6.00 – 7.30pm April to October (Minimum Age: 8 years)
