re University group of paddlers are down at the lake on a Wednesday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm when university time is dedicated to sports.
Operating on a fun and friendly basis they welcome any students to come along and join them no matter what the ability. Students from both Stafford and Stoke Campuses travel to Trentham to enjoy a relaxed few hours paddling often rounded off with some food and a few drinks in a local pub.
The university group often run extra sessions and trips for students including the National Student Rodio (NSR) event at Holme Pierrepoint, trips on local canals and rivers as well as an annual summer trip.

Club has a strong affiliation with the Scout Network within the Mildands area. Please see you local Scout group for more details about getting involved with kayaking and canoeing.
Run by TCC
member and founder John Court, the Stone U3A group paddle on a Thursday and paddle in two outrigger sixes. They are currently looking for more funding for a third boat as there is always abit of a waiting list to join this popular group.
Associate membership of the Canoe Club is covered by U3A and paddlers pay the water charge when they paddle.

Howard Shorrock is the admin coach for the Paddle-Ability (including Special Olympics Group) sessions on a Tueday evening.
The main aim of the group is to d
evelop the members skills whilst they have fun. The current members range from medal winners at sprint championships to those who who prefer to paddle at a more leisurely speed. The group is supported by several volunteers from our club which ensures that we are able to provide full safety cover at all time.
