TCC aims to be an inclusive club that welcomes paddlers of all abilities and ages. Below are some of the activities that we aim to offer. Our overal aim is to develop placid-water canoeing and kayaking at Trentham.
To get local school children canoeing
GCSE PE (canoeing element) - Years 10 & 11.
Sprint competition (ergos, Lightnings & K2s)
Paddlepower scheme - Years 4 - 9
Kayaking and bellboat introductory sessions.
To develop outrigger canoeing
Disabled paddlers and special schools.
Recreational
Particularly those put off by adventurous / whitewater image of canoeing, e.g. senior/elderly, disabled, young families.
Regular club night open to all.
BCU 1/2* awards and Paddlepower.
Competition 
Regular training nights for sprint and marathon paddlers, starting with experienced paddlers until more flat water coaches are developed and a bigger fleet of racing boats are established.
To train more coaches and encourage volunteers.
To work with other local clubs
In line with the BCU’s Long Term Paddler Development policy to signpost paddlers towards their favoured canoeing discipline.
